High Pine Outfitters was established in 2005.  Most of our hunts are centered around our hometown of Glenrock, WY, nestled in the foothills of Laramie Peak in Wyoming's preeminent Elk Area 7.
​We offer archery and rifle hunts for trophy elk, deer, antelope, mountain lion and bear.  All of our hunts are on private property, mostly in the Laramie Range, adjacent to the Medicine Bow National Forest, and the plains of northeastern Wyoming.

MEET THE OUTFITTER

Erick Mares
A native of Douglas, Wyoming, Erick lives in Glenrock with his wife and two daughters.  Erick has been guiding since 1994 and has outfitted since 2005.  We promise to work hard for you.  We want your hunt to be a success and for you to have fun.  We have been lucky to develop many lifelong friendships through guiding and outfitting.  Our goal is to have our clients leave as friends.

We are based in our hometown of Glenrock, WY nestled in the foothills of Laramie Peak.  We have access to over 50,000 acres on multiple ranches between our two hunting camps with no wolves, grizzlies, or horses.
